Le Buzz Cafe-Front Counter

What’s all Le Buzz about?

Le Buzz Cafe

Nestled in a quaint shopping plaza at the intersection of Catalina Highway & East Tanque Verde Road, Le Buzz Cafe is a Tucson original and treasure. Having celebrated 20 years recently, they are known for their tasty brunch fare, homemade sweet and savory quiches and pies, and freshly squeezed juices.

Le Buzz is an homage to the European way, where cafe patrons savor every flavor of their meal and get lost in conversation. Lingering is welcome at Le Buzz. With a laid-back, welcoming staff and zen atmosphere, how could you not?

Le Buzz-Grilled Cheese

After scanning the menu, I ordered a Le Buzz lunch classic – the Santa Fe Grilled Cheese. A loaded sandwich with Vermont cheddar, green chiles, and caramelized onions on pressed sourdough with chipotle aioli. It came with a refreshing light side salad of harvest greens, mandarin oranges, dried cranberries, housemade croutons and orange poppyseed dressing. Every bite was fresh and delicious with so much flavor! Next time you’re in the area, stop in for a latte (they roast their own coffee), lunch and a baked treat. I opted for a chocolate almond cookie, which was nutty, warm, salty and sweet, which is how I can best describe Le Buzz – offbeat with a lot of heart.
